Systems & Network Engineer (Village Roadshow Operations Greece)
About the Role
Village Roadshow (member of Antenna Group) is a leading entertainment brand, best known for its cinemas, delivering an unparalleled movie-going experience to over 3 million viewers annually.
As we continue to expand our reach and enhance our services, We are looking for a Systems & Network Engineer to join our IT team and support the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of our infrastructure and network environments
The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, designing scalable solutions, and leading development initiatives from concept to deployment
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and IT infrastructure
- Monitor system and network performance to ensure availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Manage firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and wireless networks
- Support virtualization and backup solutions
- Implement and maintain security best practices and access controls
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and IT projects
- Provide technical support to internal users when needed
- Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, and configurations
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience in systems administration and network engineering
- Good knowledge of: Windows Server, TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing & Switching, Firewalls and network security, Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.), Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
- Experience with monitoring and backup tools is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are considered an advantage
