Individuals having solid technical credentials will be considered. Technical certifications for Linux, AIX, VMWare are preferable, providing technical guidance to the team and operationally managing the team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- People Management for a team of 12-15 System Analysts including performance reviews, training, hiring
- Review and identify gaps in process, procedures and ability to correct/articulate changes
- Manage stakeholder expectations
- Performs intraday management analysis. Analyzes and interprets day-end performance reports of the different service area and translates information into action plans
- Forward looking in terms of finding opportunities for Automation, CI/CD pipeline and Dev Ops
- Provides input for continuous service improvements
- Troubleshoot and Drive Resolution of Hardware/Software/System Problems and Issues
- Develop, Utilize and Maintain System/Process Documentation and Reports
- Provide reliable financial forecasts to management
- Be able to communicate the direct value our capabilities will provide to our business partners and customers
- Implement Best practices and promote innovation and drive end to end automation of services

Required Qualifications:
- B.Tech./MCA/Engineering Graduate (15+ years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant)
ITIL V4 Certified (Well versed with ITIL concepts such as Incident, Change and Problem Management) - 12+ years of experience in the IT industry
- 10+ years of experience in IT Operations (Hosting Infra), Infrastructure services and/OR DevOps
- 4+ years of experience in leadership and people management
- Hands-On Technical SME for UNIX Domain
- Experience in analyzing the KPIs and trends and connect it to actionable
- Solid Technical working experience in compute operations (Unix, Linux, AIX, Solaris and VMware)
- Redhat Linux 5,6,7
- AIX - NIM, LPAR, DLPAR, VIO, GPFS
- Virtualization, VMWare, ESXi, Vcenter
- Experience of working on NFS servers
- Good knowledge on LVM/VxVM
- SAN/NAS concepts, setting up & troubleshooting SAN issues from OS side
- Good knowledge about UNIX system files, boot process and run levels
- Skills on configuration of network and related services at operating system level like NFS,NIC Bonding, Sendmail, SSH and other TCP/IP services
- Clustering Technology
- Scripting - Shell, Perl, Python
- Config Management tools - Chef, Ansible
- Experience in implementing Agile & DevOps methodologies
- Experience in planning & supervision for the development of staff
- Demonstrate solid expertise in Remote Infrastructure Management
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure function( Network/hosting/datacenter) in a 360 degree manner starting from the L1 type incident to complex P1 incidents
- Good understanding of IT Service Life cycle & different process involved in Infrastructure Management services
- Understand project management methods
- Solid background in running an IT Infrastructure operations of a large & complex organization
- Proven solid analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Proven advanced communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven ability to multi-task and adjust schedules to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven to be good in conflict management
- Proven ability to deliver against Service Desk KPIs and service levels
- Have worked in 24 X 7 support model
