Albireo Energy is a leader in Building Automation and Control systems in data centers. We thrive in a casual but dynamic work environment and are seeking an experienced systems integrator to join our Solutions team.

The responsibilities of this role include:

Design and Implementation:

  • Develop, configure, and deploy customized power monitoring solutions using Schneider Electric’s StruxureWare PME platform, tailored to client or project-specific electrical distribution systems.

System Integration:

  • Integrate PME with third-party systems and protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, OPC, and SCADA systems to ensure seamless data acquisition and control functionality.
  • Program power quality meters and field Modbus gateways.

Data Analysis & Visualization:

  • Create real-time dashboards, custom reports, alarms, and trends to monitor power quality, energy usage, and system performance, helping clients identify inefficiencies and optimize energy consumption.

Project Management:

  • Lead end-to-end PME project lifecycles, from requirement gathering and system architecture through to commissioning, testing, and client handover.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide advanced-level troubleshooting, server maintenance, and field communication diagnostics and root cause analysis for PME-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability. 

Client Collaboration:

  • Work directly with clients, Operating engineers and facility managers to build and maintain electrical monitoring systems including power meters, network switches, HMIs, and communication gateways. You will also define system requirements, provide training, and deliver technical documentation. 

System Maintenance & Upgrades:

  • Perform firmware and software updates, patch installations, and version upgrades to keep PME systems current, secure, and high-performing.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure system design and deployment adheres to industry standards (IEEE, IEC, NFPA) and supports compliance with energy efficiency initiatives (e.g., LEED, ISO 50001).

Travel:

  • You will report to various data centers and commercial properties to maintain and improve power monitoring systems.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with power distribution equipment such as UPS, generator, switchgear and power quality meters
  • Familiarity with Ethernet network switches (Cisco Layer 2/Layer 3 Switches)
  • Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Windows platform & VMware.
  • Travel to sites in NY/NJ/DE is required (40%-60%). Remaining time can be allocated to remote work.

Salary: $148k-$170k DOE
