Job Description Ultra I&C Edge Compute provides secure computing, communications, and Engineering/Support solutions, primarily focused on applications in airborne rugged and contested environments. We are seeking a SEIT Engineer to support our Knox commercial product line with the following qualifications and skills

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Strong background in Systems Engineering to include:

  • Conducting Feasibility Studies
  • Developing Concept of Operations
  • Developing System and Subsystem Requirements and specifications
  • Managing System Design and Development
  • Managing System and Subsystem documentation
  • Conducting System Requirements Reviews (SRR)
  • Conducting Design Reviews, i.e. Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design reviews (CDR)
  • Developing Integration Plans and Checklists
  • Conducting component, subsystem and system level Integration
  • Providing System Engineering inputs to Test Plans, Procedures and Reports verifying system requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and/or equivalent experience/certifications.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft office, Jira and DOORs.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent experience/certifications (SolidWorks).
  • Familiar with spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Packet Generator test tools
  • Experience with EMI/EMC testing
  • Familiar with Python (automation & scripting), Matlab, Node.js and React programming languages
  • Background in communications systems and Tactical Data Links (TDL).
  • Experience in Aircraft and Ground System Integration in a field Environment.
  • Experience with VPX Air Transport Rack (ATR) Chassis and Module Design, Development and Integration.
  • Familiar with ANSI/VITA, Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA), Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) and C5SIR Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) methods, approaches and standards.
  • Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) process and a tools.
