PLEX Solutions, A Part of Markon is looking for a highly motivated Systems Integration Engineer with proven experience in installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation. The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments.
Responsibilities Qualifications- Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience*, (OR) Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience* (OR) an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience* (OR) high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience* may be considered. Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
- DoD IAT-I certification, such as Security + CE, is required
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
- Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
- Familiar with setting up storage such as network‐attached storage.
- Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C
- Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
- Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with SELinux and FIPS
