As a Systems Integration Engineer III, you'll be able to manage advanced systems integration tasks with high competence in requirements analysis and management. You'll lead verification and validation (V&V) activities, oversee complex software and hardware integration, and manage configuration management processes. You'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, solving and troubleshooting technical problems with expertise, and applying sophisticated analytical thinking and critical reasoning. Your role will require strong technical writing and documentation skills, and a thorough understanding of aerospace and defense standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise on situational awareness tools, early-warning systems, airspace management, and cross-domain data sharing
  • Support integration of multi‑tactical data link (TDL) architectures (Link 16, JREAP, FAAD/IBCS messaging), ensuring reliable track management and data interoperability
  • Assist teams with system-level troubleshooting on Air and Missile Defense (AMD)-related command-and-control systems, sensor interfaces, network gateways, and prototype launch platforms
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues involving tactical communications, radios, mission computers, routers/switches, and prototype payloads
  • Perform installation, configuration, testing, and validation for deployed field systems and prototype equipment
  • Execute corrective actions derived from engineering analysis, test results, or customer feedback
  • Support operator and maintainer training on system capabilities, mission workflows, TDL configurations, and network employment techniques.
  • Provide field support—including CONUS/OCONUS operations—to assist customers during system deployment, exercises, and operational missions.
  • Translate customer mission needs into technical solutions and recommended system configurations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for system reliability, integration efficiency, and supportability

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in systems integration or related field
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electronic, digital, RF, and networked systems
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Tactical radios and communication systems
    • Wireless networks and mission-communications architectures
    • C2 or sensor-integration systems
    • Laptops, servers, routers, switches, and mission computing hardware
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Solid understanding of system‑level maintenance for networked and communications systems

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience as an Army 140A AMD Systems Integrator or similar background in joint AMD, C2, or TDL operations
  • Experience with:
    • C2, radar integration, sensor fusion, IBCS-like architectures
    • Mission-system prototype development and rapid‑prototyping environments
  • Familiarity with Aerospace & Defense engineering standards, military CONOPS, and sustainment processes
  • Relevant certifications (Security+, Network+, etc.)
  • Ability to read schematics, analyze network diagrams, and follow detailed test procedures
  • Hands-on RF, vehicle integration, or field-service engineering experience
  • Prior military or government experience, especially in AMD, TDL, or mission‑system operations
  • Leadership experience in technical, operational, or military roles

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Hand/finger dexterity for integration tasks.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
