Inside the RoleThis exciting role will shape the way we design our products, with local and global implications. We’re looking for a Systems Integration Engineer focused on both Vehicle Interior Systems Engineering and Process Ownership. The role will have a diverse responsibility spread between System Engineering responsibilities and work with local and global colleagues to refine, implement, and improve our System Engineering Processes. It will split responsibility (25%) Engineering responsibility and (75%) Process Ownership. This fast-paced, highly visible role will introduce the right candidate to an extensive network of process users and managers and a broad scope of technical knowledge. This person will drive the global engineering processes that enable us to produce the best product in the market.

Position offers a starting salary range of $86,000 – $110,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA
As a Systems Integration Engineer with Process Ownership, you will utilize your experience in Systems Integration not only in developing System requirements, but also identify needs for new or improved processes, work with affected persons to define those, and document and create training for the organization on new and/or changed ways of working. You will use feedback from your network of stakeholders as well as proactive audits to identify areas of improvement and your technical knowledge to shape solutions appropriately, and you will use metrics and Key Performance Indicators to measure the success of our processes and methods. Problem solving, creative thinking, and teamwork will be central to your role.
Knowledge You Should Bring
Requires a Bachelors Degree in engineering or relevant
Requires 2-4 years of relevant experience
Robust understanding of the function and use of commercial vehicles
Experience with DTNA Vehicle or Cab Systems processes
Experience with DTNA Vehicle, Cab or SW Development processes such as CVDS, Regulatory Compliance, SEDP, FUSA, DFMEA etc
Previous experience within Systems Engineering, requirements Management or Model Based Systems Engineering
Experience in, or exposure to, developing complex systems with high degrees of interdependency
Familiarity with Signavio or other process modelling tools
Previous experience within System Engineering
Experience with DTNA documentation processes and tools (ELM, DOORs, ect...)
Background in fostering continuous improvement
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
Process mapping experience including RASCI and SIPOC
- Experience with SW or Mechatronics Development processes at Daimler Truck
Experience with data analysis and visualization
Experience leading and influencing stakeholders
Experience working with frequent global collaboration
Proven ability to create effective technical training materials
