Position Overview:

Detroit Defense is seeking an experienced Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support certification testing of DoD network systems in a fast-paced defense environment. This role requires deep technical expertise across enterprise platforms, network security, and Navy modernization processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform certification testing of DoD network systems, subsystems, and integrated applications

• Execute baseline testing to verify system configurations and ensure compliance with DoD standards

• Support NAVWAR Modernization and Application Integration processes

• Administer and maintain RHEL, Windows Server, and Windows Client operating systems in test environments

• Manage and test virtualized environments using VMware

• Utilize Ansible for configuration automation and test environment provisioning

• Support Cisco networking and NETSEC requirements within test and integration environments

• Implement and validate DoD PKI requirements across systems and applications

• Support Aruba wireless network integration and testing

• Conduct cloud computing integration testing and validation

• Document test plans, procedures, results, and discrepancy reports in accordance with DoD requirements

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years of experience as a certification tester of DoD network systems

• Active Security Clearance required

• Experience with RHEL, Windows Server, and Windows Client operating systems

• Experience with VMware virtualization platforms

• Hands-on experience with Ansible

• Experience with Cisco networking equipment and NETSEC

• Working knowledge of DoD PKI implementation and requirements

• Experience with Aruba networking solutions

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and integration testing

• Experience supporting NAVWAR Modernization and Application Integration processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Navy or DoD certification and accreditation processes (RMF/DIACAP)

• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 certification

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks
