The Systems Engineering Integration and Test area is responsible for bridging design and manufacturing by assembling, configuring, and verifying hardware/software frameworks. This team ensures that subsystems interact as a unified system, verifies performance against requirements, and validates that product offerings meet stakeholder needs through rigorous testing and debugging.
Role Knowledge and Application
- Develops professional expertise, applying company policies and technical procedures to resolve a variety of integration and testing issues.
- Determines a course of action based on guidelines, such as test plans and test procedures, and modifies processes and methods as required to optimize test coverage.
- Works with laboratory hardware/software, performing initial bring-up, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of integrative issues.
Complexity and Problem-Solving
- Works on problems of moderate scope which are often varied and routine, such as troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, or software interfaces.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions for debugging, and identifying the root cause of integration failures.
- Applies learned techniques in test automation, data analysis, and anomaly investigation to solve integration problems and enhance system reliability.
Supervision
- Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
- Collaborates with experienced team members to define test requirements and strategies.
Collaboration and Interaction
- Builds productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions, working closely with Design, Manufacturing, and Software teams.
- Focuses on providing standard professional advice, including creating test reports, test procedures, and analyzing results to ensure system verification.
- Coordinates with cross-functional engineers to troubleshoot integration issues and drive corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Systems, or Software) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems design, implementation, and integration is required.
- Experience in a laboratory environment working with data acquisition tools, test fixtures, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) is strongly preferred.

Cubic Pay Range:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 + benefits.
The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
