We currently have a vacancy for a Systems Infrastructure Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Vienna, Austria. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT systems and infrastructure;
- Provide advice to management on implementing secure IT systems and best practices;
- Design and implement secure Windows based IT solutions;
- Troubleshoot Windows and other server hardware and software related issues;
- Ability to provide 3rd level support to Service Desk in response to work requests and incident reports;
- Manage Projects regarding secure server infrastructure.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum 5 years of experience installing, configuring customizing, upgrading troubleshooting and managing software systems;
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Configuration Management;
- Experience of ITIL and knowledge of industry best practices and IT infrastructure and software security;
- Experience with monitoring systems like SolarWinds and Microsoft Systems Centre Operations Manager;
- In-depth knowledge of Virtualization Platforms, Servers Administration, Active Directory, Kerberos Authentication, Hyperconverged Systems;
- Very good knowledge of IT security, Enterprise Architecture, IT Disaster Recovery, ITIL;
- The following certificates would be considered a valuable asset: ITIL Certification, PMP or Prince2;
- Excellent command of the English language.
