We're looking for a Systems & Infrastructure Administrator, IT Contractor to support our Toronto operations and keep our infrastructure running smoothly. This role blends hands-on data center work with day-to-day IT administration: you'll rack and cable servers, network equipment, and storage systems; manage onboarding, device setup, and desk-side support for local staff; maintain server and network inventory; and document the processes behind it all. The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working autonomously, and the ability to coordinate across internal engineering, network, and operations teams as well as third-party vendors and data center personnel.
This role will be a 12-month contract fully on-site, based out of the downtown Toronto, ON Beanfield data center, with travel to Tenstorrent office locations and other data center facilities as required.

Who You Are
- You have experience with IT support, networking, infrastructure, or data center operations across Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.
- You are comfortable working hands-on with servers, network equipment, storage systems, racks, and copper and fiber optic cabling.
- You can read rack layouts, cabling standards, and installation documentation, and you bring strong attention to detail.
- You are organized, proactive, and able to work independently while supporting onsite and remote teams.
- You have reliable transportation, can safely handle data center equipment, and are comfortable traveling between facilities as needed.
- Rack, stack, install, cable, label, maintain, relocate, and decommission servers, network equipment, storage systems, and other IT infrastructure.
- Support data center migrations, hardware deployments, infrastructure changes, backup and disaster recovery procedures, and testing.
- Maintain accurate server, network, hardware, and asset inventories, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, device setup, desk-side support, and troubleshooting across laptops, AV equipment, printers, servers, and networking equipment.
- Track support tickets, maintain technical documentation, assist with incident and problem management, and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and data center personnel.
- How to scale IT and data center operations at a fast-growing AI hardware company.
