The Impact you will have in this role:
The Enterprise Scheduling Engineering organization is responsible for the end-to-end management of the Batch Scheduling environment. Our primary objective is to deliver flexible, scalable scheduling capabilities through self-service and automation, while consistently enforcing established best practices to reduce risk while accelerating enterprise-wide automation.
The Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for the administration and operational support of Distributed Scheduling across Linux and cloud-based platforms. This role partners closely with infrastructure-as-code–driven automation initiatives to design, develop, and deliver new automation capabilities, as well as to enhance and evolve existing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experiences

- Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
- Create and publish system documentation for enabling IT to use automated scheduling solutions
- Partner with experienced team members to develop new automation
- Containerized Platform Knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Software Configuration Management
- Version Control Knowledge (Bitbucket)
- Cloud Knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP, IAM, Ingress/Egress Policies)
