We’re growing and hiring Systems Engineers across the UK to support our customers in Public Sector, Enterprise, and Commercial segments. As a Systems Engineer at Fortinet, you’ll be a trusted technical advisor to our customers and partners, working closely with account teams to drive adoption of Fortinet’s industry-leading security solutions. You’ll play a key role throughout the sales cycle from discovery and design to proof-of-concept and deployment helping customers solve complex security challenges with confidence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead technical engagements across the sales lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, presentations, and PoCs
  • Translate customer business and technical requirements into effective Fortinet solutions
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations, architecture workshops, and whiteboarding sessions
  • Work cross-functionally with partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Maintain deep expertise across Fortinet’s portfolio, industry trends, and emerging threats
  • Support RFI/RFP responses and ensure accurate documentation in Salesforce
  • Act as a technical mentor and knowledge resource for partners and colleagues

  • Experience in a pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing technical role
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies such as Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SOC Tools and Cloud
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and partners
  • A desire to contribute to a high-performing and inclusive team
  • Industry certifications (e.g., NSE, CISSP, CCNP) are a plus
