We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Global SaaS Operations - Administration & Maintenance team in Bangalore, India. The position reports to the Team Lead - Administration & Maintenance.

We are seeking an Systems Engineer to support 24/7 operations for Azure-hosted SaaS platforms. The role focuses on Azure infrastructure management, containerized workloads, automation, and CI/CD, ensuring high availability, security, and operational stability through effective cloud infrastructure management and continuous improvement
More specifically, you will:
- Provide 24/7 operations for Azure-hosted SaaS platforms, ensuring availability, stability, and performance.
- Administer and optimize Azure infrastructure including compute, networking, security, storage, and identity.
- Build and maintain automation and container platforms using Ansible, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Execute and support planned maintenance windows and continuous update cycles with minimal customer impact.
- Collaborate with engineering teams while maintaining documentation, runbooks, and operational standards.
- Deploy and maintain database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies

Technologies include
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration
- Automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash)
- Knowledge about any MDM solutions.
- Manage and administer relational database systems such as Oracle Database, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, and high availability configurations
- Work with NoSQL systems such as Cassandra
- Handle database backup, restore, and high availability setups
Who are we searching for
We are looking for 4–6 years of experience into a Cloud & Database Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and enterprise database systems. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability of both cloud environments and data platforms, has strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, including resource governance, compute, networking, security, and storage services, and has operated scalable, resilient Azure-based SaaS platforms in production.
You bring practical experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible and Kubernetes, along with building and supporting CI/CD pipelines. You are proficient in scripting and automation using Python and Bash, and comfortable working with GitHub for source control and DevOps workflows. You have proven experience supporting 24/7 production SaaS environments, are operationally strong, and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Skills Required
- 4-6 years experience in Cloud and Database engineering
