Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join our Infrastructure Delivery team. This role is responsible for building, supporting, and scaling our enterprise Kubernetes (K8) and OpenShift platforms in a hybrid cloud environment. The ideal candidate has strong Linux engineering skills, hands‑on OS Administration, Kubernetes/OpenShift experience, and a GitOps‑driven approach to automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and upgrade Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across on‑prem and cloud environments.
  • Lead platform automation using GitOps practices (Argo CD, Flux) and IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and root‑cause problem resolution.
  • Implement and maintain security policies (RBAC, OPA/Gatekeeper, image scanning, secrets management).
  • Build, administration support Linux systems that underpin the container platform.
  • Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to onboard workloads and improve deployment workflows.
  • Provide documentation, platform standards, runbooks, and ongoing SME support to cross‑functional teams.
     
Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift (3.x, 4.x preferred).
  • Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, & Ubuntu).
  • Experience with GitOps workflows and deployment automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of container runtimes, networking, storage, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure/platform issues.
     
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, IRE, & multi on-prem).
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies.
  • Exposure to enterprise security, compliance, and SSO integrations.
