Qualis LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to directly support the U.S. Air Force in certification of new and/or modified aircraft systems in support of its dual-mission capable role. Thus, the need of an integrated test systems engineering support to verify significant changes to the aircraft platform hardware and/or software through in-depth requirements validation and traceability to obtain intuitive design for test accuracy. The position requires a systems engineer with fundamental knowledge and experience to analyze, trace and decompose requirements and work with Air Force program leads, hardware and software developers, and flight test engineers to ensure requirements verification is practiced throughout the test planning and reporting process.
As a system & test engineer, your experience will be immensely utilized by flight test engineers, hardware and software developers, and test support personnel to include partaking a role as a liaison between System Program Office and aircraft program test directors. In addition, your role will require the development of a requirements verification process to better define the acceptance criteria and completeness of artifacts and content and assist with providing hardware/software interface and performance parameters to precisely capture pass and fail test conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or experience in; the process of defining, documenting, verifying, and maintaining requirements supporting the test design and planning process
- Ability to analyze, and provide traceability and decomposition of system requirements
- Ability to determine undefined or missing requirements and manage completion of requirements according to a project schedule
- Establish acceptance test criteria; verifies appropriateness; ensures completeness of artifacts and content
- Ability to work within a professional, military-oriented environment required
- Bachelor’s Degree is Systems Engineering or requirements engineering related field
- Secret Clearance
Desired qualifications:
- Experience with Developmental and/or Operational Test and Evaluation.
- Knowledge of system design and/or experimental test operations a plus
- Knowledge of nuclear weapons or nuclear weapon systems
- DAU Test Evaluation Certification, Level I or II, or test industry equivalent
