Gather, analyze, and document system requirements; develop user stories, test plans, and in-platform documentation; support MBSE/CAMEO, Agile/DevSecOps, cloud data platforms, BCA/AoA, and data science/model training; provide program review inputs, mentor junior engineers, and manage hybrid waterfall/Agile processes. On-site in Lexington Park, MD.

- Support data scientists and developers in the practice of the application and training of models
- Support data scientists and developers with defining and managing process and procedures for monitoring and improving data quality
- Support development and performance of test plans and procedures
- Provide inputs to Program Management Reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings
- Provide necessary systems solution documentation and visualization
- Mentor local junior engineers and analysts
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Required Experience:
- Experience in systems engineering or development
- Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions
- Preferred experience:
- Naval Aviation Maintenance and Calibration policies and procedures or Navy data systems
- Agile software methodology process and DevSecOps
- Digital Engineering or Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and modeling language (SysML, UML)
- Cloud-based Data platforms
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $120,000 - 130,000
Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
