Everforth ECS is seeking a Systems Engineer (Windows) to work in our Pocatello, ID office. Please note: This position is contingent.
This Systems Engineer (Windows) is part of a team that is responsible for installing, maintaining, and securing any Windows-based systems that form the infrastructure backbone of enterprise networks.
Position requirements and duties of the Systems Engineer (Windows):
- Serve as the expert for all Windows environments.
- Design, implement, and provide ongoing support of the Windows Infrastructure.
- Supporting physical and virtual systems on multiple security enclaves.
- Responding to frequent and varied requests for DNS, DHCP, DFS, print systems, and other support.
- Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution of problems to minimize downtime.
- Developing scripts and other modern solutions for advancing enterprise automation.
- Collaborating professionally with other infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
- Engineering and maintaining the baseline Windows Server image for the enterprise.
Experience/Education requirements for the Systems Engineer (Windows)
- Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI / CI-Poly to meet contract requirement.
- 5+ years directly related industry experience
