Systems Engineer
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

Core Responsibilities
The Systems Engineer is to serve as a key technical integrator bridging enterprise networking, data center virtualization, and cyber compliance within defense signal and communications environments. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and supporting administration, understanding hardening, and troubleshooting of multi-enclave IP networks (ICAN/AGUN/GSN), virtualized compute clusters, and storage infrastructure in accordance with strict DoW/DISA security standards.
This position requires a communicator who can distill complex technical challenges, modernization plans, and risk postures into clear, decision-quality briefings and documentation for the military chain of command. You will act as the vital link between hands-on technical operations and senior leadership, ensuring mission-critical communications solutions are secure, resilient, and aligned with operational objectives.
Key Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, testing or related field.
Experience: A minimum of eight (8) year of network systems engineering experience
Substitutions: BS can be substituted with an additional 7 years of related experience performing network systems engineering functions
