This team is responsible for integrating people, data, and systems into CoreWeave’s HR technology ecosystem while ensuring compliance, payroll accuracy, and a positive employee experience throughout periods of change.

About the Role

CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer, M&A – People Systems to lead and execute HR systems integrations across M&A events. In this role, you will own the technical delivery of people systems integration, from due diligence through post-close stabilization. You will design and execute Workday data migrations, configure People systems for acquired populations, and support payroll- and compliance-critical cutovers. This role operates in fast-paced environments and plays a critical role in enabling CoreWeave’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead People Systems integration efforts for M&A activities, including onboarding acquired employees into CoreWeave’s HR technology ecosystem.
  • Partner with Corporate Development and People teams during due diligence to assess HR systems, data structures, payroll, benefits, and compliance considerations.
  • Design and execute data migration strategies into Workday HCM, including worker, job, compensation, benefits, and payroll-related data.
  • Configure and optimize Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and related People systems to support acquired populations.
  • Plan and execute cutover activities, system testing, parallel payroll runs, and go-live support for M&A integrations.
  • Build, support, and monitor integrations between Workday and third-party people systems, including ATS, benefits vendors, payroll providers, and learning platforms.
  • Develop validation, reconciliation, and audit reports to ensure data accuracy and payroll readiness post-integration.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, SOX, labor, and regulatory requirements throughout the M&A lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot complex system and data issues in high-impact, time-sensitive environments.
  • Document integration approaches, risks, and best practices to continuously improve M&A execution.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HRIS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting People Systems or HRIS, with hands-on experience in Workday.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A-related HR systems integrations, conversions, or large-scale employee onboarding events.
  • Strong expertise in Workday configuration, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, security, and reporting.
  • Experience using EIBs, Calculated Fields, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Proven understanding of people data governance, security, and compliance requirements in an M&A context.
  • Experience managing multiple integrations, timelines, and system dependencies concurrently.
Preferred
  • Experience with Workday Studio.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-entity M&A integrations.
  • Familiarity with automation tools or process optimization within HR or People Systems.
