What you will do:

As a Systems Engineer, it will be your mission to elevate our customer experience by:

  • Act as an expert level technical specialist for system Q/A and upgrades on customer systems.
  • Providing remote and onsite system implementation of software upgrades for Evertz customers
  • Solve problems by replicating user workflows and provide solutions
  • Be the customer bridge between the Product and Development teams

You will work between Principal Architects, Evertz clients, R&D Engineers, and Project Managers to understand the needs and use of their products in the client’s particular application to deliver a successful upgrade.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Client, Principal Architects, and product teams to validate system design against their respective product(s).
  • Work with the industry leading orchestration / control software – Magnum OS 
  •  Q/A test current / future customer workflows across multiple software releases.
  • Support and provide product related detail in support of creating a Q/A SOW (Scope of Work)
  • Identify and manage Q/A gaps by clearly stating assumptions and working with R&D to ensure the gap resolution meets the client/project needs.
  • Act as a product technical authority throughout Q/A testing and onsite deployment.
  • Willing to work in an exciting, fast-paced industry with career growth path potential (Project Management, Principal Architect, Product and Engineering Teams)

 Qualifications:

To join our growing team, you will need the following to make our team better:

  • College Education or higher in IT/Computer Science or related fields
  • Strong software validation skills
  • Attention to detail and strong data analysis skills
  • Control and system level validation and regression testing
  • Troubleshoot system interoperability issues
  • Be self-motivated when software testing/troubleshooting is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Configure and validate systems based on system configuration drawings

  • Linux and Windows Operating Systems knowledge
  • IT networking
  • Broadcast knowledge
  • Familiarity with JIRA and agile development
