Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support a mission-focused federal IT program in Washington DC.

The Systems Engineer will support the engineering, administration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise systems in secure federal environments. This role provides hands-on infrastructure support across servers, storage, virtualization platforms, endpoints, enterprise applications, and related technologies that enable reliable and secure mission operations.
The Systems Engineer will support servers, storage, virtualization, endpoint management, patching, troubleshooting, backups, documentation, and secure system operations. This position will also assist with lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, system monitoring, and operational continuity across the enterprise.
This role requires a hands-on technical professional with experience supporting enterprise systems, resolving infrastructure issues, maintaining documentation, and working collaboratively with network, cybersecurity, service desk, engineering, and government stakeholder teams in a classified or sensitive federal IT environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Minimum 5 years systems engineering or administration experience
- Enterprise infrastructure experience
- Experience supporting secure or regulated environments.
