Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Systems Engineer III in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.
Salary: $110k-$180k (depending on experience)
The Systems Engineer III supports the Navy by designing, engineering, and integrating enterprise IT systems and architectures across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments.
Essential Functions:
- Design and implement enterprise system architectures.
- Lead system integration and engineering efforts.
- Develop system specifications and engineering artifacts.
- Support RMF/ATO processes.
- Provide technical leadership.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
Required:
- 5–7 years of experience in relevant field.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
- Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD environments.
Desired:
- Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs.
- Familiarity with virtualization, cloud, or enterprise systems.
- Relevant certifications (Security+, RHCSA, AWS, etc.).
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in complex environments.
Security Clearance:
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
