Job Description

    Responsible for engineering and optimizing integrated systems that support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. Develops comprehensive solutions that enhance system reliability, scalability, and security. Leads the evaluation of new technologies and system architectures, providing strategic recommendations to enhance organizational capabilities.

Education and Background

    Typically has a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and 4+ years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience; e.g., each year of work experience may be substituted for each year of education required.

Required Skills

  • Apply computer science, engineering principles, and data analysis to design and deliver cost-effective IT solutions
  • Translate business and mission needs into scalable, secure, and practical technology implementations
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications, systems, and IT infrastructure
  • Implement and optimize methods for processing, storing, and managing data across platforms (cloud, on-prem, hybrid)
  • Develop and integrate new technologies to improve system performance, automation, and user experience
  • Assess cybersecurity risks and ensure systems comply with standards (e.g., RMF, NIST, DoD requirements)
  • Analyze system performance, reliability, and user impact to drive continuous improvement
  • Perform system testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure functionality and security
  • Monitor and support production environments, including troubleshooting outages and resolving incidents
  • Identify root causes of system failures or vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions
  • Oversee system deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities
    Estimate project timelines, costs, and resource requirements for IT initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, cybersecurity, network, and stakeholders) to deliver integrated solutions"
