POSITION OVERVIEW

The Systems Engineer II performs systems design, test, and analysis in support of product development and manufacturing for Gentex technologies in emerging, medical and consumer markets. This position is fully on-site in our Ottawa, Canada location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Perform systems design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products.
  • Create, evaluate, and implement system architectures including interface definition and description.
  • Develop systems test procedures and methods for system verification and validation.
  • Utilize system design analysis and simulation tools to aid in system design and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional design reviews.
  • Follow Gentex system engineering processes according to ASIL ISO26262 and ASPICE.
  • Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT TO BRING

  • B.S. or 4-year degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional working experience
  • Strong communication skills
