ProSync is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer I or Systems Administrator II to join the team’s front‑line engineering group. This individual will perform hands‑on system administration tasks, configurations, installs, troubleshooting, customer support, and ongoing maintenance across mission‑critical environments. The role requires strong technical breadth, the ability to work directly with users and customers, and the discipline to support operational systems with reliability and precision.

Responsibilities:

  • Front‑Line System Administration — Perform daily sys admin tasks including configuration, installation, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Customer & User Support — Provide direct support to users and customers, resolving issues and ensuring system availability.
  • System Configuration & Maintenance — Configure servers, services, and applications; maintain system integrity and operational readiness.
  • Operational Troubleshooting — Diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software, and network layers in mission environments.
  • Deployment & Installations — Support installation and deployment of new systems, upgrades, and configurations.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration — Work closely with the team, mission partners, and engineering staff to support operational workflows.
  • Documentation & Reporting — Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, troubleshooting steps, and operational procedures.
  • Issue Escalation — Escalate complex issues to management and senior engineers when required.

Requirements
  • Systems Engineering Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of experience in systems engineering (OR) in lieu of a degree, a total of eleven (11) years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Systems Administration Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of experience in systems administration (OR) in lieu of a degree, a total of fifteen (15) years of experience in systems administration.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with system installs, configurations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Ability to support users and customers in operational environments.
  • An active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Skills Required
