Job Description

As a EO System Engineer, you will be responsible for EO project implementation, installation, testing and commissioning of EO System.You will own the technical design and implementation to ensure only quality technical solutions with the highest levels of customer satisfaction will be offered

 

What will you do? 

  • Manage/ implement EO System projects.
  • Work with project team members to implement and deliver projects
  • Assist Project Manager in various aspects of project implementation, including EO System design, risks identification and mitigation, ICIT.
  • Responsible for EO systems configurations, troubleshooting errors/problems, monitoring and/or testing systems performance
  • Proactively provide solutions to prevent problems from occurring and reactively provide solutions to resolve technical issues that arise
  • Engage with external partners and users
  • Gather business and/or application requirements so as to plan, design, install, test and implement systems that meet commitments with our customers
  • Monitor and measure the performance and availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance and service level availability
  • Respond promptly to incident, perform root cause analysis and provide temporary or permanent resolution of incidents. Provide timely incident status updates to relevant parties
  • Implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operations
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implementation
  • Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations
  • Establishes & promotes effective business operations across multiple countries &/or regions & coordinates appropriately with the broader global business
  • Attain key certifications for partnership with key vendors.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess: 

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering
  • Experience in implementing Engineering/Infrastructure Project.
  • Experience in administrating, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Experienced in EO System will be added advantage.
  • Highly motivated and have the aptitude and attitude to continuously upgrade and refresh the knowledge in EO technologies.
  • Positive work attitude, self-motivated, creative, and resourceful with a customer first mind set
  • Independent, hardworking, and able to work under pressure
  • Able to handle emergency situations outside of normal work hours when required
  • Good inter-personal, organizational, problem solving and teamwork skills.
