  • Define and lead validation strategies, coverage, and risk assessment for assigned features, platforms, or customer programs
  • Lead detailed debugging and root-cause analysis involving SSD firmware behavior, PCIe/NVMe protocol, host platform, BIOS, drivers, and OS
  • Direct comprehensive issue resolution through collaboration among firmware, platform engineering, product development, and customer teams
  • Support and lead customer Joint Qualification (JQ) activities, including reproduction, triage, data analysis, and cross-site coordination
  • Examine logs, traces, and dumps from firmware, OS, PCIe/NVMe protocol layers, and validation tools to identify underlying problems
  • Develop and improve Python-based validation frameworks, automation, and log analysis tools to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Lead efforts to maintain validation coverage quality, continuously spotting gaps, risks, and chances for improvement
  • Lead or contribute to technical initiatives such as validation methodology improvements, debug frameworks, and tooling enhancements
  • Actively guide less experienced engineers and contribute to team capability development and technical excellence
  • Influence validation guidelines and cross-team alignment, helping build validation approaches across programs and platforms

Required Experience / Skills
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in SSD validation, storage system validation, or a closely related field, with demonstrated ownership of system-level validation scope
  • Strong hands-on experience in the storage industry, including SSDs, storage systems, or enterprise server platforms
  • Solid understanding of PCIe and NVMe architecture and protocols; familiarity with SATA is advantageous
  • Experience with server platforms and system architecture, including system bring-up, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong debugging capability across hardware, firmware behavior, OS, and platform interactions
  • Experience using Python for validation automation, tooling, and data/log analysis
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Understanding of NAND flash and non-volatile memory concepts
  • Demonstrated capability to operate autonomously, advance initiatives, and achieve outcomes in challenging settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
  • Comfortable working under multiple priorities and time-sensitive customer blocking issues
