Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Systems Engineer will be responsible for coordination and collaboration with diverse engineering design teams to provide imaginative, technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems in establishing and managing the technical baseline in support of review milestones. The candidate will be executing tasks in system engineering functions. The position requires systems thinking and working knowledge of the full development life-cycle processes that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Candidate must exhibit strong leadership characteristics in coordinating with multiple teams and managing tasks.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters
• Active DoD Secret security clearance with a background investigation date within 6 years
This position may be filled at the System Engineer. This position is contingent upon verification of DoD Secret clearance and obtainment of Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prefer Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Engineering Physics
• Master’s Degree
• Knowledge with Agile Framework
• Experience working on military aircraft / spacecraft systems.
• Experience in developing, managing, and decomposing requirements.
• Experience in system architecture, CONOPs, or model-based system engineering.
• Experience in ICD development and integration
• Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills.
• Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.
• Scripting experience
• RF/Radio/Communication experience
• Tactical Data Link experience
• Network engineering experience
Primary Level Salary Range: $75,100.00 - $112,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
