Job Description:
Provides systems analysis, design, development, testing and support for moderately complex technical information system components.
Essential Functions and Other Job Information:
• Designs and develops components and services according to specifications within a team environment.
• Prepares detailed system documentation including requirements, specifications, test plans and user manuals.
• Performs unit and system tests and, as needed, validation testing.
• Assists DBA with database design.
• Coordinates with Operations staff on deployment of applications.
• Works with business partners to analyze and address support requests including training.
• Provides support for existing systems and technologies, including second line application support during and after deployment.
• Ensures all activities are performed with quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 4+ years’).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail
- Solid knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, Web Services, ETL and related technologies, REST services
- Solid knowledge of basic relational database platforms
- Familiarity with the following systems & skills preferred: Microsoft IIS, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure Web App, Azure Function App, Azure DevOps, Clinical Industry Knowledge, Project Management
- Strong logic, analysis, and problem solving skills
Working conditions
- Long, varied hours required occasionally.
- Required to participate in on-call rotation.
- Required to work in APAC Shift-2 or Shift 3
Working Hours
India : 1 PM IST – 10 PM IST or 3 PM IST - 12 AM IST
Philippines : 3:30 PM PST – 12:30 AM PST or 5:30 PM PST - 2:30 AM PST
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant academic or vocational qualification
- 3-4 years of comparable experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Experience in application support
- General understanding of Windows Server, Linux, server administration, and system architecture
- Experience with relational databases, primarily Oracle and some SQL Server
- Ability to write SQL queries and troubleshoot PL/SQL packages
- Knowledge of supported applications and technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application problems and coordinate solutions with other teams or vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and ticket management systems
- Experience with financial, human resources, or corporate systems
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work the APAC Shift-2 schedule
