Role Overview:

    As a Business Systems Developer II, you will develop, integrate, and support solutions across Salesforce and the broader Business Systems environment. You will build Salesforce applications, integrations, extensions, and customizations while troubleshooting production issues and supporting the systems and processes used across the organization. Working with business and technical stakeholders, you will help translate requirements into effective technical solutions that improve productivity, automate processes, and support evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop software solutions, integrations, extensions, and customizations supporting internal business functions.
    • Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, platform configuration, and other Salesforce capabilities.
    • Support integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications and systems.
    • Troubleshoot, test, and validate development and production issues, resolving issues with appropriate urgency and documenting solutions.
    • Perform testing to ensure systems and enhancements meet documented business and user requirements.
    • Compile and analyze test results to identify issues and support problem resolution.
    • Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, understand business needs, and estimate feature and enhancement work.
    • Perform administrative and technical functions for key systems and applications within the Business Systems environment.
    • Support ongoing optimization and automation of business systems and processes.
    • Maintain technical and support documentation for developed solutions and recurring processes.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in .NET software development, software automation, Salesforce development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience developing solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Apex and Visualforce.
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to independently contribute within a fast-paced, collaborative technical environment.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate ideas, and influence decisions without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to independently learn new technologies, systems, and business processes.
  • Understanding of software development best practices and established departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
