Job Description
Responsibilities
- Complete definition and design of complex components, modules and sub systems, including detailed engineering analysis.
- Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
- Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of cross-functional engineering problems in field of technical expertise,
- Support system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design, and understand the underlying system implications.
- Studies equipment performance and reliability.
- Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect TMEA products.
- Lead design projects from the beginning to implementation.
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis of sub systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Design Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent relevancy.
- Five (5) years of relevant professional experience in Design Engineering and/or related field.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
