Join Our Team as a Full Stack Engineer / Systems & Database Administrator!
Are you a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with a passion for systems and database administration? We have an incredible opportunity for you to contribute to mission-critical operations within the Department of Defense/Intelligence Community (DoD/IC) environment.
What You’ll Get to Do:
In this dynamic role, you’ll utilize your diverse skill set across software development, Linux systems engineering, database administration, cloud services, and DevOps practices to design, build, deploy, and maintain secure, enterprise-level solutions.
Responsibilities:
Linux & Platform Engineering:
Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
Perform command-line operations, patching, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Support virtualized and cloud-based infrastructure, with a focus on AWS.
Database Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain databases across Linux and cloud environments.
Troubleshoot database issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize performance.
Write, tune, and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures.
Software Development & Scripting:
Support full-stack development using Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, Python, and Bash.
Develop and maintain automation scripts.
Participate in application design, development, testing, and integration.
DevOps & CI/CD:
Work with multiple CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Install and configure pipeline tools to support automated builds, testing, and deployments.
Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
Deploy infrastructure and applications in AWS cloud environments.
Collaboration & Communication:
Interface directly with customers and end users to capture requirements and provide expert guidance.
Create comprehensive system documentation, design artifacts, and presentations.
Operate effectively both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
An active TS/SCI clearance.
7–10 years of experience in engineering roles supporting DoD/IC programs.
CompTIA Security+.
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
AWS Cloud Essentials (or equivalent foundational certification).
Extensive experience with Linux (RHEL) system administration and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience deploying and configuring solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Strong database administration skills, including installation and configuration.
Proficiency in scripting and development (Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, Python, Bash).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies.
Demonstrated ability to perform effective root-cause analysis.
Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday with limited supervision.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other orchestration platforms.
Knowledge of secure coding principles and DoD/IC compliance frameworks.
