KeenLogic is seeking a Systems Consultant (Recording Studio Systems) to be a part of our team working with The U.S. Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms to provide expert support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems within the Senate's professional recording studios. The role involves supporting both Windows and Apple environments, managing studio-specific hardware, and assisting with mobile device integration.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (such as computer science, information technology, or business administration) is often required.
5+ years of direct customer support experience.
Key Responsibilities:

System Design & Implementation:
- Collaborate with federal clients to understand their technical requirements and provide expert guidance on system design and integration.
- Design and implement customized IT solutions that align with the client’s business objectives and meet federal compliance requirements (e.g., FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP).
- Oversee the end-to-end deployment of systems, ensuring solutions are integrated seamlessly with existing infrastructure.

System Optimization & Performance Tuning:
- Conduct assessments of existing systems, identify areas for optimization, and recommend improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.
- Provide recommendations for hardware, software, and network improvements to ensure that the systems are operating at peak efficiency.
- Implement system monitoring tools and performance analytics to ensure continuous optimization.

Security & Compliance Guidance:
- Advise federal clients on best practices for securing IT systems, ensuring compliance with federal security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Perform risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability analysis to ensure the integrity of the system.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls and address potential threats.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for system issues, working with internal and external teams to resolve complex problems.
- Lead root cause analysis for system failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Support the transition to operational systems, ensuring smooth handover to the maintenance teams.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Develop detailed documentation for system designs, configurations, and implementations, ensuring all processes and architectures are well-documented for future reference.
- Create and deliver technical reports, presentations, and status updates to key stakeholders, including project managers, senior leadership, and client teams.
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and updates for auditing and compliance purposes.

Training & Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide training and support to client personnel to ensure they can effectively manage and operate newly implemented systems.
- Create training materials, user manuals, and knowledge base articles for ongoing system use and troubleshooting.

Project Management & Collaboration:
- Participate in cross-functional teams to manage system implementation projects, ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Work with internal stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and IT support teams, to deliver solutions that align with client requirements.
- Lead or contribute to technical workshops, meetings, and briefings to communicate progress, address concerns, and gather feedback.
