Core One is in search of a Systems Architect to join our growing Technology Advisory team. The Architect will support the Chief Technical Officer in interacting with Core One senior leadership, customers, and technical subject matter experts to develop strategic offerings for government customers. The Architect is responsible for all aspects of the system architecture to include technology tradeoffs, architecture design and development, maintaining technical roadmaps, and allocation of system functions to architectural elements. The position requires extensive subject matter expertise in applications technologies and the ability to provide actionable guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical solutions analysis by considering the technology environment, enterprise specifics, requirement to determine potential solutions.
- Brief customers on Core One capabilities and understand requirements to deliver mission critical solutions.
- Performing technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems
- Analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or enhance existing systems
- Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have an active TS clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or additional 5+ years' relevant experience in lieu of education
- 10+ years’ progressively responsible engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise IT including DevSecOps, cloud migration and agile development, systems integration, or similar experience with complex productions.
- Expert level of understanding architecture development, governance, and design principles
- Experience reviewing the output of systems modeling and analysis
- Experience developing technical solutions for federal government customers.
- Experience translating complex technical ideas into the sales process including customer briefings, white papers, and proposals.
Desired Skills:
- CCNA, CCNP, VCP or other professional certifications
- TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
