The Role

The Systems Architect, CPQ & Billing, collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams, will gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement complete CPQ and Billing solutions in the Salesforce and ERP platform. This role also configures and customizes CPQ and billing features, and provides expert-level support for CPQ and billing issues, and will include leading and managing a team of CPQ and billing admins and developers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • This position will be remote based in Brazil.

  • Reports to: Sr. Director of Data & Business Systems.

What You Will Own

  • Architect & Implement CPQ and billing Solutions – Design and deploy comprehensive CPQ and billing solutions that align with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders – Work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to define and document CPQ and billing requirements, ensuring optimal workflows and user experience.

  • Configure & Customize CPQ and billing Features – Implement product configuration, pricing rules, discounting structures, approval workflows, and contract management processes.

  • Develop & Maintain Documentation – Create clear and concise documentation for CPQ and billing configurations, business rules, and integration workflows.

  • Support & Troubleshoot Issues – Provide expert-level support, diagnose system issues, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and performance.

  • Stay Up to Date on CPQ and billing Best Practices – Continuously research and apply Salesforce CPQ innovations, updates, and industry trends.

  • Mentor & Guide Team Members – Share expertise and provide training on CPQ and billing functionalities, best practices, and system enhancements.

  • Lead Solution Design Workshops – Facilitate design sessions to align CPQ and billing solutions with organizational goals and ensure seamless implementation.

  • Oversee Data Migration & Integrations – Ensure smooth data transitions and integrations between CPQ and ERP, billing, CRM, and other enterprise applications.

  • Ensure Scalability & Performance – Design CPQ and billing solutions that support long-term business growth and maintain high system performance.

  • Team Management – Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to a team of administrators and developers as needed.

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce platform development and administration.

  • 3+ years of experience specifically with Salesforce CPQ and billing implementation and configuration.

  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Advanced Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant).

  • Experience with other Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing).

  • Knowledge of integration tools and techniques for connecting Salesforce with other systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Passion for learning and implementing new technologies.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
