The RoleThe Fidelity Institutional Intermediary Servicing OSG team, within Fidelity Institutional Product and Business Enablement Technology (FIPBET), is seeking a skillful, upbeat Systems Analyst. This role requires a self-starter who can champion collaboration and cultivate a close partnership with business and the development teams to help craft and implement solutions on both client and server-side technologies.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- 3 years of Systems Analysis experience
- Demonstrated expertise interviewing and extracting high quality business requirements from stakeholders using the Agile scrum methodology
- Confidence in SQL skills
- Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills, including strong judgement, issues management and problem analysis techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Financial services experience is a benefit
- Prior development experience would be plus.
- Knowledge of Swagger/Rest API would be plus.
- Skilled in mocking up intuitive, user‑centered interfaces, including wireframes, prototypes, and workflow diagrams that translate business requirements into effective user experiences.
- Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and to engage with peers in technical and design discussions
- Ability to apply a long-term mentality to help produce scalable, maintainable solutions
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve issues and work through ambiguous situations by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience, and judgment
- Facilitating requirements elicitation sessions with business partners and be the active driver in the backlog refinement process
- Encouraging Agile methodologies
- Communicating effectively to influence team members and external groups, including navigating the organization to effectively accomplish tasks
- Passion to provide mentoring support on development standards to other analysts within the wider FIPBET team
- Desire to provide outstanding product support at all stages, including on-call support, when necessary

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
