Informatica IDMC / Snowflake Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica IDMC / Snowflake Project Developer to design, develop, and optimize modern data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Snowflake. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, enabling seamless data movement across cloud and on-premises environments, and supporting enterprise data transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Informatica IDMC, strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, and a solid understanding of modern cloud-based data engineering practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, enhance data workflows, and ensure high-performing, secure, and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading across on-premises and cloud platforms, with a strong focus on Snowflake.
  • Develop and manage Snowflake-based data pipelines, including data loading, transformation logic, performance tuning, and optimization of warehouse usage.
  • Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Support data migration and modernization initiatives, including movement from legacy data platforms to Snowflake.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines to ensure performance, reliability, scalability, and data quality.
  • Implement and follow best practices related to data integration, data security, governance, and cloud data engineering.
  • Work with scheduling and orchestration tools such as Control-M to automate and manage workflows efficiently.
  • Document technical designs, workflows, mappings, and operational procedures to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica IDMC  development.
  • Strong experience in Snowflake, including:
    • Data loading and transformation
    • Snowflake SQL and scripting
    • Performance tuning and query optimization
    • Virtual warehouses, stages, file formats, and Snowflake best practices
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ELT/ETL frameworks.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and other enterprise data platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with Control-M, workflow scheduling, and job orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of API-based integrations, semi-structured data processing, and real-time / near real-time integration patterns.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and performance optimization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
