Navy Financial Management Systems Analyst (DOD experience required)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst with specialized experience in supporting Navy Fleet Management (FM) systems and acquisition processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Navy business systems, particularly within the procure-to-pay environment, and possess expertise in managing various business systems facilitating fund flow from contract writing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise in Navy FM systems to support the client's Navaide operations, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Provide insights and guidance on acquisition processes within Navy systems, particularly in relation to procure-to-pay workflows.
- Analyze and improve business processes within Navy systems, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency enhancement.
- Manage the utilization of contract writing systems, ensuring smooth operation and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Utilize Excel and other relevant tools to analyze data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
- Act as a point of contact for technical support, issue resolution, and system troubleshooting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to Navy business systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably within the Navy or defense sector.
- Proficiency in Navy FM systems and strong familiarity with acquisition processes.
- Experience with contract writing systems and their integration into broader business systems.
- Proven track record of project management, including successful delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.
- Advanced skills in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
