ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Process Discovery, Analysis, and Design 

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, customer needs, pain points, risks, controls, and performance expectations. 
  • Plan and facilitate discovery sessions, interviews, workshops, observations, and working meetings with cross-functional teams. 
  • Document current state and future state workflows, customer journeys, value streams, decision points, handoffs, roles, business rules, and system dependencies. 
  • Analyze processes to identify root causes, bottlenecks, rework, unnecessary variation, control gaps, delays, and opportunities for automation or simplification. 
  • Develop practical recommendations, options, and business cases that balance customer value, operational impact, risk, cost, and implementation effort. 

Requirements, Implementation, and Change Support 

  • Translate process needs into clear business requirements, acceptance criteria, procedures, controls, and implementation plans. 
  • Collaborate with business owners, project managers, systems analysts, software development, data teams, vendors, and other partners to align process and technology changes. 
  • Support pilots, testing, readiness activities, training, communications, documentation, and transition to business ownership. 
  • Maintain process documentation and repositories so procedures, ownership, controls, and supporting materials remain current and accessible. 

Measurement, Governance, and Continuous Improvement 

  • Define process measures, baselines, targets, and reporting requirements in partnership with process owners and data teams. 
  • Monitor results and trends, evaluate adoption and control effectiveness, and communicate findings to stakeholders and leadership. 
  • Help establish consistent process management methods, templates, standards, governance routines, and accountability practices. 
  • Coach stakeholders on process mapping, problem solving, root cause analysis, measurement, and continuous improvement techniques. 
  • Manage multiple assignments, communicate status and risks, and escalate barriers that require leadership decisions. 
  • Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and industry best practices. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned and required. 

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: 

Desired 

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university in business administration, operations management, information systems, industrial engineering, organizational development, or a related field. 
  • Three or more years of related experience in process analysis, business analysis, continuous improvement, operational excellence, project delivery, or a related discipline. 
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and developing current state and future state process documentation. 
  • Experience supporting process change from discovery through implementation, measurement, and sustainment. 
  • Lean, Six Sigma, business process management, change management, project management, or business analysis training or certification is desired. 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including the ability to separate symptoms from root causes and convert findings into actionable recommendations. 
  • Ability to facilitate productive discussions, build alignment, and work effectively with employees, leaders, technical teams, vendors, and other business partners. 
  • Strong process mapping, requirements documentation, procedure writing, and visual communication skills. 
  • Ability to define meaningful performance measures and use data to evaluate process effectiveness, quality, efficiency, risk, and customer impact. 
  • Effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics in clear business language. 
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision, manage competing priorities, meet commitments, and adapt to changing business needs. 
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to documentation quality, confidentiality, information security, and responsible handling of company and customer information. 
  • Curiosity, sound judgment, diplomacy, and a continuous improvement mindset. 

TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND SOFTWARE: 

  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. 
  • Proficient with process mapping and diagramming tools such as Microsoft Visio or comparable software. 
  • Working knowledge of reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI is desired. 
  • Working knowledge of workflow automation, low-code tools, project management platforms, process repositories, or approved AI tools is desired. 
  • Familiarity with common enterprise systems such as customer relationship management, ticketing, billing, human resources, finance, and collaboration platforms is desired. 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Primarily indoor work in an office or hybrid environment requiring extended periods of sitting. 
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, visual display, video conferencing, and collaboration tools. 
  • Occasional travel between Aureon locations or to business meetings may be required. 
  • No unusual physical requirements.
