As a Systems Analyst I on the Pulmonary Function Team, you will support the technology and clinical systems that enable respiratory therapists, pulmonologists, and other healthcare professionals to perform, document, and interpret pulmonary diagnostic testing. You will serve as the primary liaison between Clinical Operations and Information Technology, ensuring that clinical applications, medical devices, workstations, networks, and workflows function efficiently, securely, and reliably.

In this role, you will troubleshoot technical issues, support clinical applications, assist with technology implementations, document clinical workflows, and collaborate with clinicians to enhance patient care processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service, problem-solving, and technical skills, along with the ability to understand and support clinical workflows. Success in this role requires delivering reliable technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and contribute to high-quality patient care.

A caregiver in this position works a hybrid schedule Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The hybrid schedule will begin after training is completed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Provide application, technical and preventative maintenance support for multiple end-user systems.
  • Contribute to departmental projects and solutions implementation.
  • Demonstrate, through output, a solid understanding of networking and distributed computing environment concepts and principles of client/server configuration.
  • Support development of information system requirements to include process and documentation creation and maintenance.
  • Maintain user confidence.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain high level of quality work in a stressful environment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Associate degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field OR a High School diploma/GED and three years of experience OR a Bachelor’s degree
  • One year of implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care environment, or equivalent experience in end-user training or in an operational or financial role utilizing the systems or data generated by the systems supported by this position required.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Experience in a medical/clinical environment
  • Experience in data acquisition and analysis techniques
  • Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalent preferred
  • For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
