In this role on the Audit Transformation & Strategic Initiatives team, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of process automations and AI‑driven solutions that enhance audit efficiency and insights. You will identify and integrate data sources, own and manage automations and AI agents, and develop advanced queries to strengthen analytics and reporting capabilities. Drawing on strong technical skills in automation platforms, AI frameworks, and data management, you will contribute to solution development while ensuring reliability, security, and effective documentation. Success in this role requires a problem‑solving mindset and close collaboration across audit teams.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This position follows a hybrid schedule, with on-site work at West Creek in Independence two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday)

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Perform workstation, software, peripheral, network and workflow support.  

  • Provide input to develop solutions.  

  • Assist with project assignments and documentation, operational and business objectives, best technology capabilities, task level resource requirements, task plans, and collaborative communications.  

  • Provide first level diagnostic Help Desk and after-hours support, including on-call responsibilities. 

  • Provide application, technical and preventative maintenance support for multiple end-user systems. 

  • Contribute to departmental projects and solutions implementation. 

  • Demonstrate, through output, a solid understanding of networking and distributed computing environment concepts and principles of client/server configuration. 

  • Support development of information system requirements including process and documentation creation and maintenance. 

  • Maintain user confidence. 

  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and one year of implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience, preferably in a health care environment, or equivalent experience in end user training or in an operational or financial role utilizing the systems or data generated by the systems supported by this position required  

  • OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of experience  

  • OR High School diploma/GED, successful completion of ITD apprenticeship program and two years of experience 

  • OR Bachelor’s degree 

  • ITIL Foundations Certification upon or within six months of hire 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Microsoft, CompTIA or equivalent certifications 

  • Experience in a healthcare environment 

  • Exposure to AI frameworks and building AI‑driven solutions (Copilot preferred)

  • Experience with automation tools for workflow/process automation (Power Automate preferred)

  • Ability to identify, integrate, and manage data sources (Snowflake preferred)

  • Proficiency in writing advanced queries for analytics and reporting (SQL)

  • Ability to translate business/audit needs into technical requirements

  • Comfortable collaborating with audit and ITD/Enterprise Analytics teams

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
