Analyzes business and technical requirements for financial recordkeeping systems, translating them into user stories, data models, system flows, API contracts, and integrations. - Collaborating with DB business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into actionable user stories and backlog items

- Contributing to team ceremonies, iterative planning, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance delivery quality and efficiency
- BS or above with exceptional skills for business system design and solutions
- 4-6 years of experience in systems analyst, application lifecycle management, and production support
- Experience working with financial systems, recordkeeping platforms, or retirement/benefits administration (Defined Benefit preferred)
- Ability to distill business processes and objectives into well-defined epics/stories/requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business rules (e.g., pension calculations, eligibility, compliance) and translate them into technical solutions
- Work through ambiguous situations by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience and judgment is required
- Extensive data analysis skills combined with excellent knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) is required.
- Working proficiency of object-oriented programming concepts, specifically Java is a nice to have.
- Working knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON and APIs is a plus
- Highly effective written and verbal communication is a must
- Proven ability to work in a highly coordinated, iterative delivery environment, refining requirements in partnership with stakeholders
- Defined Benefit domain knowledge, including pension calculations, eligibility, and compliance
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with data governance, reconciliation, and audit processes
- Ability to bridge business and technology, translating complex domain concepts into clear technical requirements
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business, operations, and engineering teams

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
