1. Managing and maintaining the Windows-based infrastructure and related technologies within an organization. 
2. The term "Wintel" refers to the combination of Windows operating systems running on Intel-compatible hardware. 

The Wintel Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and support of the organization's Windows-based infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, applications, and related components. They ensure the availability, reliability, and security of the Wintel environment, and they play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, operating systems, and related software applications.
2. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the performance of Wintel servers and infrastructure.
3. Perform regular system updates, patches, and security fixes to maintain a secure and up-to-date environment.
4. Manage Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, and domain services.
5. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for Wintel systems to ensure data integrity and availability.
6. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Wintel systems with the overall IT infrastructure and ensure seamless operation.
7. Provide technical support to end-users and IT teams regarding Wintel-related issues, incidents, and service requests.
8. Conduct system audits, monitor event logs, and perform security assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
9. Assist in the planning and implementation of system upgrades and migrations to newer versions of Windows operating systems or hardware.
10. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the Wintel domain to propose and implement improvements.
11. Create and maintain documentation related to the Wintel infrastructure, including configuration, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures.

Experience: 4 to 8 years

Qualifications:
Graduation (Computer Science, Information Technology Specialization)
