At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join our team in Oxford, AL.

The working hours for this role are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a salary of $65,000-$90,000.

The Role

The Systems Administrator role is to support all levels of the business with their IT needs including hardware, devices, software, cabling and ERP systems.

  • Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions.
  • Provides support for individual users, including analysis of necessary hardware and software upgrades and purchases.
  • Responds promptly to support tickets raised regarding system support, applications support, connectivity issues, software installations, upgrades, etc. and resolves issues to minimize downtime within critical systems.
  • Researches and tests software prior to deployment across user systems.
  • Follows and promotes management information system policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaises with consultants, contractors, technical personnel, and vendors for service and products.
  • Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions. Performs preventative maintenance for the network and all systems.
  • Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans.
    Utilizes ManageEngine ticketing system for tracking issues and their resolution.
  • Support system controls & policies to meet requirements of DFARS & CMMC

  • Able to configure and deploy workstations, laptops, and peripherals to users in both office and manufacturing areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both on a proactive, planned, project basis as well as a crisis/problem recovery situation.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a medium sized business
