Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to help scale and secure our global hybrid infrastructure. You'll play a key role in managing our cloud platforms, SaaS systems, and endpoint devices-ensuring performance, availability, and rapid issue resolution for mission-critical systems.

The IT Systems & Infrastructure team delivers secure and reliable solutions to support Rapid7's global workforce and business operations. We collaborate closely across engineering, security, and operations teams to drive efficiency and innovation at scale.
About the Role
Systems Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize our multi-cloud infrastructure, SaaS applications, endpoint environments, and core IAM systems. Specifically, your focus will be to:
- Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Manage Windows and Linux servers (on-prem and cloud) and implement Infrastructure-as-Code practices
- Oversee endpoint management across Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS using MDM platforms
- Administer IAM and SaaS platforms including Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack
- Serve as Level 3 support for complex technical escalations and major incidents
- Implement and maintain security hardening, patch management, and compliance controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure projects
- Support critical incident response and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and contribute to continuous service improvement
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend enhancements to system reliability and performance

- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms
- Windows Server and Linux administration experience (on-prem and cloud)
- Proficiency with MDM tools such as Jamf, WorkspaceOne, and Google Admin Console
- Deep understanding of IAM platforms including Okta, Entra ID, and Active Directory
- Experience managing and configuring SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack
- Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Puppet
- Knowledge of security hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
- Proven success in high-availability, 24/7 production environments
- Ability to lead incident response and conduct root cause analysis with precision
