Would you like to be involved in modernizing and maintaining a critical DoD system? Join our team as a Systems Administrator! You will get to use your technical skills to implement and maintain the latest version of our financial system on a more modern technical stack.
We have been supporting our customer for over 20 years with the implementation of a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Financial and Acquisitions system, Momentum. We are now working to move from our Windows based platform to RHEL, OpenShift and implement DevSecOps.
We are looking for an experienced, resourceful Systems Administrator with the desire to be a critical member of our team designing and developing creative new solutions for our customers. Under minimal supervision, you will work as a member of the Technical Team responsible for administering and technically configuring CGI’s Momentum Financials and Acquisitions. The Technical Development Team will work closely with functional resources, solution developers, database administrators, information assurance specialists and configuration change management resources to perform analysis, design and development, testing, and deployment of changes to existing software as well as new solutions for the customer.
This role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to properly prioritize, multi-task and work collaboratively with our project team. This position is a great opportunity for an administrator who enjoys interacting with people and has a desire to expand their knowledge and take on greater responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, document, and maintain the application and database servers for the implementation of CGI’s Momentum Financials.
- Configure, document, and maintain the application and database servers used for development, testing, and production.
- Provide technical expertise on the implementation and documentation of Information Assurance security controls and assessments in development and production environments.
- Automate tasks to improve system and administration efficiencies.
- Provide technical support for development activities and project team needs.
- Support the development and execution of the project plan and schedule.
- Work independently with minimal guidance from more senior technical staff.
Required:
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- CASP+ certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or other technically relevant degree.
- 5 years of technical experience in system design, development, and production support of large applications/systems.
- Windows and Linux server system administration experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.
Desired:
- Technical experience with CGI’s Momentum software and/or Sunflower Asset Management.
- Experience working with Momentum 8.x architecture (OpenShift Container Platform, JBoss, ActiveMQ).
- Experience with GitLab, Artifactory, or other DevSecOps tools.
- Experience with Financial Management or Business Applications.
- Oracle Database Administration.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 security controls, and related technical implementations.
- Possess prior experience supporting large scale organizations with successful ERP implementation(s).
- Self-starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and put new skills to use. • Ability and initiative to set goals and execute

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,700 - $165,300
