Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a motivated Systems Administrator to join the Leidos team of professionals supporting the DISA Platform & Core Services program. This candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of computer systems, including associated hardware. Duties include updating to new systems, as well as support on current systems by tuning performance, allocating storage space, and implementing critical system patches. This position is contingent upon contract award.
SHIFT SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 08:30AM - 4:30PM core hours with occasional after hours’ onsite
work to support both a NIPR and SIPR environment.
Primary Responsibilities

Support and execute virtual and physical deployments to production such as ESXi Hypervisor, VDI, and other required infrastructure upgrades, system enhancements, and enterprise LCM evolutions.

Create, modify, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instruction documentation.

Support end point connected device management, upgrades, enhancements

Supports total system image builds IAW planned projects and initiatives and prepare deployment to production

Respond to system faults, analyzing and correcting applications or system faults to reestablish service

Successfully manage time and technical responsibilities, set accurate expectations and meet deliverable deadlines while working in a team collaboration environment.

Maintain, update, install required certificates and track certificate revocation dates to ensure continuity of services.

Support Storage/SAN solutions to include back-up and recovery evolutions
Basic Qualifications

Requires BS and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Experience in lieu of degree may be accepted

Working knowledge and experience with integrating VMWare ESXi Hypervisor technical implementation of bare metal rack server technology and hardware solutions.

Solid understanding of VM Kernel Operating System installation and virtual server on physical blade server implementation.

Solid understanding and working experience with configuring and maintaining GPO

Strong understanding of enterprise, network, systems, operations and support.

Experience and knowledge with Server Rack Hardware installation and, implementation, datacenter maintenance and operations.

Experience and understanding creating and using power shell scripting or programming for systems management and process automation.

Excellent writing and speaking skills

Experience installing, configuring Microsoft Server 2016-2019 operating system

Experience with updating/patching computer system deployment using SCCM/MECM

Experience with troubleshooting system hardware applications, system services, events, front and back end system settings, configurations, and policies

Experience with applying DoD STIG requirements and using SCAP tool
-
Experience working with system security applications (ACAS) and mitigating vulnerabilities

DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III: (Security+ CE, VMWare VCP or VCA, or Win Server 2012 or higher, CompTIA Server +, Linux RHEL Cert)

Active DoD Secret clearance

Certified MS Azure Administrator Certification

Experience using PowerShell CLI scripts

Possess valid VMWare VCP certification

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
