Position OverviewThe Acumatica Application System Administrator will support our Acumatica ERP platform. This role is responsible for system configuration, user administration, troubleshooting, integrations, reporting, and ensuring the platform supports business operations efficiently and securely. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to enhance workflows, implement new features, and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain the Acumatica ERP environment, including user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Configure system modules, workflows, automation steps, and customizations to support business processes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Acumatica support or partners when needed.
- Manage updates, patches, and version upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and proper testing.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, generic inquiries, reports, and data views.
- Support integrations between Acumatica and third‑party applications (e.g., CRM, e‑commerce, WMS, payroll).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system enhancements.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and system changes.
- Train end users and provide ongoing support to ensure effective system adoption.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to internal IT policies.

- Soft‑skill expectations (communication, patience, professionalism, etc.)
- 2–5 years of experience administering Acumatica or another cloud‑based ERP system.
- Strong understanding of Acumatica modules such as Finance, Distribution, CRM, Service or Manufacturing.
- Experience with generic inquiries, dashboards, and report designer tools.
- Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and integration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Acumatica certifications (e.g., Business Consultant, System Administrator, Developer).
- Experience with customization projects using Acumatica Framework or C#.
- Background in business operations, accounting, supply chain, or distribution.
- Experience with data migration or ETL tools.
- Experience working in a service or distribution organization.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments on-premises and in Azure
- Experience owning and redesigning Active Directory environments, including cleanup, consolidation, restructuring, GPO design, standardization, multi-domain, or M&A environments
- Strong expertise in Active Directory, including DNS, GPO, replication, trusts, identity and access management, and PowerShell automation
- Experience leading security remediation from audits, vulnerability scans, or penetration tests
- Experience with hybrid identity, Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, and hybrid-joined environments
- Experience with infrastructure patching, configuration management, backup, disaster recovery planning, and recovery validation
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and segmentation
- Ability to manage projects and priorities independently and collaborate within a distributed IT team
- Working knowledge of Acumatica ERP in a business setting
- Acumatica Certified Professional certification
- Direct experience migrating from Sage Accpac or Sage 300 to Acumatica
