QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent related training.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of network security, access controls, incident response, disaster recovery, and asset management.
- Experience installing and supporting industrial automation software, including Rockwell and Omron.
- Experience supporting CAD applications, including NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, DraftSight, and KeyCreator.
- Working knowledge of Veeam, PowerShell, PDQ, and WSUS.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms, and server infrastructure management.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across departments.
DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as SAP, MES, WMS, or MRP.
- Experience with monitoring and management tools such as Nagios and Matrix42.
- Experience with Cisco switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
- Experience in manufacturing or Operational Technology environments.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compensation: $80,000 - 85,000 Annually
- Install and maintain industrial computers and automation applications to support production and maintenance.
- Provide support for CAD applications including NX, Catia, Solidworks, Draftsight, and Keycreator.
- Monitor server and network performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security compliance.
- Manage physical and virtual servers to ensure performance and uptime.
- Perform monthly patch updates for servers, computers, and switches.
- Maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Test backup and recovery solutions to protect data availability.
- Support business continuity through redundancy and failover solutions.
- Provide user support for business applications and hardware.
- Manage backup and recovery for servers, applications, and file shares.
- Document and maintain network diagrams.
- Provide backup support for fellow team members to resolve issues.
- Provide on-call technical support and on-site technical support for Mytox personnel during non-normal business hours, as required.
